Abstract

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not morely the absence of disease or infirmity. The health status is one of the social indicators of sustainable development. In this article will be analysis diseases of digestive sysetm in Nitra region. In 2007 in Nitra was dominant in five groups of diseases and their seguence was following: 1. diseases of circulatory system, 2. tumours, 3. diseases of respiratory system, 4. injuries, 5. diseases of digestive system.
