Abstract

The paper discusses about landscape changes of Novobanská štálová area. The article was to point out major changes in the territory of changes in the areas of landscape elements. Also as change of „štále“ function from residental function to the recreational function. We evaluate the landscape changes of country with dispersed type of settlements for 227 years. Used maps from the time of the 1st military mapping to the latest ortophoto images were compared to research in the field.
