Abstract

In its first part the article deals with partial analyses of the territory under examination, which focus on the structure and the use of the agricultural soil fund, the average official price of arable land and the employment in the agricultural industry in villages. The result of these analyses is in the second part of the article the synthesis of the territory examining the potential of this region as far as agricultural production is concerned. It results in determining the degree of agricultural activity in the villages of the Nitra district.
