Abstract

In the rural country emerges a new phenomenon, called agricultural brownfields (abandoned agricultural areas and buildings). They include all land areas and real estate in the territory, which do not fulfill their initial function, present an ecological problems and have devastated buildings. Renovation brownfields is environmental and society effective and leads to the creation new jobs, investments to improve infrastructure and to development of territory. The beginning of article devotes to theoretical materials about the issue of brownfrields. The core part of the article is dedicated to the field survey that lies in the brownfield mapping in the selected villages rural areas in the district of Zlaté Moravce along with the characteristics of the entities where these objects are located.
