Abstract

The paper is focused on evaluation the financial support from Program obnovy dediny na Slovensku (The village renewal programme in Slovakia) for the village development in Slovakia. The aim is to analyse the financial support from The village renewal programme in Slovakia during the period 1998 – 2012 for micro regional associations in Slovakia. The support was used especially for the renovation of public areas and buildings. The programme helps to create the conditions for the village development, tourist development in rural spaces and ecological awareness of population.
