Abstract

Mill industry was traditionally widely spread within the region of Slovakia. Its history dates back to the 12th century. The mill industry heritage objects such as mills are natural part of any cultural landscape which experienced human activities. The mills can be treated as unique at least from the perspective of the Central Europe. Our aim in the presented paper is to point at the use or neglecting the potential of technical heritage related to milling in the cultural landscape from the tourism point of view.
