Abstract
An interest in studying health is in creasing especially with the changes of society, politics and economics and with the pollution of the environment. A reflection of the health status of the population and healthcare are specific types of mortality, which can include infant and neonatal mortality. Infant mortality, which tracks the number of deaths of children under 1 year of neonatal mortality and morbidity within 27 days. Our text is analyzing the infant mortality and neonatal mortality in the Nitra self-governing region during the period 1997 – 2011.
