Abstract

The state of the environment significantly affects not only the individual ecosystems, but also human health. In assessing the evolution and the pollution of water reservoirs, it is necessary to consider all sources of pollution and in particular monitor the physico-chemical characteristics, which affect their quality. In the paper we present the results of the analyses of selected physical-chemical parameters in water tanks Bedzany, Nemečky, Duchonka and Tesáre. The water reservoirs are located in the district of Topoľčany and they are used for recreational purposes.
