Abstract

Problems of regional development is a topic which refers to different sections of society especially in the context of regional disparities and poses as one of the most serious problems not only in Slovakia but also in the wider European context. The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of papers and selected theoretical and methodological approaches from global and domestic literature dealing with regional disparities and related research areas.
