Abstract

Recently, the topic of regional development received considerable attention in society. Even the municipality of Brusno, which belongs to a spa town in Slovakia of national importance, has a strong interest in its development. It emerging spas have a positive impact on the overall development of tourism in the village. Regional development strategy to fulfill its primary function, if it were not included in the views and needs of the people. The potential of municipality its predisposition, both natural and human sphere. Their knowledge is an essential condition for the long process of regional development. This paper aims to assess the perception of regional development in the Brusno municipality.
