Abstract

The article deals with the support of teaching GIS by means of practical manuals and software simulations. Both of them contain lessons about how to solve concrete geographic tasks in ArcGIS 9.2. Flash videos containing various lessons are the output of software simulation. They were positively tested by the students of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and therefore we would like to recommend them as a support for teaching GIS
