Abstract

Handlová town is situated in the Trenčín region in Prievidza district. The area of Handlová town is 8,555 ha and thus it is the largest town in the district of Prievidza. In the article we present maps of the secondary structure of landscape in 2009 and its statistical and spatial analysis using GIS and results of remote sensing. The field research was conducted in 2009.
