Abstract

The article deals with the quality of environment at the level of the Nitra region. The aim is to evaluate the condition and quality of water in the region through the quality of surface water, groundwater, wastewater and environmental infrastructure – public water supplies and sewerage systems. The aim of elaboration of this theme is to point to environmental aspects which are necessary for effectual planning of regional development of the area.
