Abstract
Anthropogenic geomorphology represents dynamically expanding discipline. Amount of material taken from earth surface moved by hand of man is being exponentially rising as well as human population. In Slovakia, same as in the rest of the world we can identify many of mentioned man made landforms. At the border of districts of Spišská Nová Ves and Gelnica can be found many landforms from mining and industrial category of anthropogenic landforms. They are closely related to mining history of Spiš region. Most of described landforms are inactive, but still very well visible in landscape. In this article, I am trying to bring insight to the current state and source of largest of them. Existence of every one of them has in some way impact to the substance cycle in landscape. They represent good base for further geomorphological research.
