Abstract

Nitra town is significantly influenced by commercial suburbanization processes. The number of commercial subjects increased from 14 to 102 in town district Dolné Krškany between 1998 and 2016. Commercial subjects are located mainly along the main traffic route I. class I/64. The analysis of the commercial suburbanization process in the town district Dolné Krškany is based on comparison of aerial photographs and field survey. Additionally, facts and figures published on internet portal www.infostat.sk a www.registeuz.sk were supplemented.
