Abstract
Strategic management is posssible to understand as the most important activities influencing the success and existence of all enterprises and institutions in the future. There are including marketing, but it is a much more complex ceiling on the functioning of the organization. From the business sector is gradually moving into the public sector, where the municipality / city, but also microregions in terms of basic setting strategic goals. This main aim of this article is to present the aspects of a multi-criteria analysis research, strategic planning at the level of municipalities in relation to the activities / projects financed from public sources. The article brings an analysis of the most important aspects of preparing strategic plans and projects at the municipal level in the Czech Republic.
