Abstract

The paper regards the clarification of the concept of integrated development of tourism, especially in regional and local context. Special attention is paid to actors in tourism that play an important role in the integrated development of tourism in the destination, and to their mutual cooperation that can take many forms. Part of the contribution is an example of integrated tourism development in selected areas of the region Liptov. Relevant stakeholders and the relationship between them was analyzed using network analysis and directed interviews. The results delivered an information about use of available tools for promotion of integrated development of tourism by the actors and revealed the problems associated with the development of tourism at the local level.
