Abstract

The contribution deals with abandoning of agriculture land of the chosen mountain village area (cadastres Povrazník and Strelníky). The evaluation was realised by means of a hexagonal web in two periods of time. We have analysed ingrowths processes in relation to the chosen terrain characteristics (parameters of slopes, aspects, altitude) and soil characteristics (soil types, categories, production potential). For quantification of relations we have used “Cramer V” index. The final part of outcomes points at the extent of agricultural land abandoning as well as the influence of social economic conditions and chosen qualities upon these processes.
