Availibility and Comparison of the Selected Statistical Data in Czechia and in the Neighbouring States with the Focus on Slovakia

Abstract

The aim of our contribution is research about availability of selected statistical dates in Czechia and their comparison with the statistics in the neighboor states. We selected for this project couple of indicators from the area Human and social resources, which is a part of a bigger grant-aided research named as Influence of cross-border cooperation on regional development of the Czech borderland. Afterthat we completed a list of indicators, we had to find their definitions and compare it among Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Germany. The conclusion of the contribution is a table of the indicators, where we can see, if they are fully or partially comparable or if they are completely different.
