Abstract

The contribution is focused on the process of residential suburbanization of the city of Nitra, particularly on urban parts Klokočina and Kynek. Residential suburbanisation is accompanied by certain attributes, for example residents with higher educated and higher income, separating the residents from ambient and other. Residents are migrating into suburban areas for various reasons, but mostly it is the fulfillment of the dream about living in their own family house with garden. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the influence of residential suburbanization and the basic attributes in given area and also determinethe factors that most affecting residents in site selection to live.
