Abstract

The paper deals with the development of secondary landscape structure in the village of Ráztočno from 1783 until 2009. We deal with the development of groups of landscape elements in various time periods (First, Second, Third Military Surveys, the mid-20th century, the late 20th century, the early 21st century) and analyze them in the context of socio-economic and natural factors. Groups of landscape elements of secondary landscape structure can be characterized as qualitatively different areas in the landscape showing mainly different physiognomic and structural characteristics or biophysical nature. The village of Ráztočno has a specific landscape structure which is caused not only by long-term surface mining of dolomite, but also by its basin form of relief.
