Abstract

Nitra self-governing region has one of possibilities to draw financial resources from EU funds during 2007-2013by priority axes defined in its Program of economic and social development for years 2008 - 2015. These funds are one of the most important resources for regional development of municipalities in the Nitra Self-governing Region. We paid attention mainly to the Priority axis 2 Environment and Sustainable Development. The aim of the article is to analyze the financial resources flowing into municipalities of the region from the Priority axis 2 point of view and their cartographic visualization.
