Abstract

The article deals with the development of forest area in the categories of forest, we observe the spatial distribution of forests at the level of districts and regions of Slovakia, and also the structure of forest tree species in Slovakia. Moreover, we also focus on the issue of reforestation area as well as the amount of logging. We also deal with the number of subjects according to the ownership and with the workforce in forestry.
